Although it is only spring, the Christmas in Westbury Action Group are already reflecting on Xmas 2007 and planning the 2008 programme.
In essence, this will be very much the same though improved, using the formula that has been developed over the last two years with a range of major events (skating etc) to act as a focus and the co-promotion of other local events and activities to create an interesting and comprehensive programme for all.
Generally the feedback from 2007 has been very positive and, despite the difficult weather conditions, it was felt the Xmas programme had improved on the previous year and we managed to generate a lot more interest and involvement.
However, as the Christmas in Westbury celebration starts to become a regular town event, we are anxious to take on board and act upon comments and suggestions from all parts of our local community.
With this in mind, please feel free to let us have your views on the good, and the bad, points from 2007 and any suggestions that you might have to make improvements to the programme and the associated publicity.
Once again the popular Xmas Programme booklet will form the lynch pin of the Xmas promotion and we hope to extend the advertising opportunities. We also plan to re-issue Window Stickers, Shop Cards and other promotional materials for your use.
Thanks you for your continued interest and support, and please let us have your views.
